This newest version of the Baratza Maestro PLUS features a heavy weighted plastic base, a front mounted pulse on/off button and a sixty second grind timer. This premium coffee grinder offers the versatility to grind for any brewing method combined with an attractive and convenient design. Professional grade 40mm conical grinding burrs, a powerful motor and a gear reduction system provide an exceptionally consistent grind with minimal heat build-up or static generation. The Baratza Maestro PLUS is fully adjustable and equipped with (40) forty grind settings from fine for espresso machines (pressurized style filter only) through coarse for French press pots and all brewing methods in between. Additional features include an 8-oz. bean hopper and a 5-oz. ground coffee bin that can be removed to permit grinding directly into an espresso machine filter handle if desired.

Steven M. on 12/8/2011, said: I've been using the Baratza Maestro for several years at home, every day. It has performed flawlessly and the grind never needs re-adjustment. Conical burr grinders, as this one, are superior to flat burr grinders; they don't heat the beans during the grinding process, and they create far less static electricity, which can create a mess with coffee grounds.
