Filling the water tank and reusable gold coffee filter could not be easier thanks to the frontal access design; simply pull open the door, pour water into the channel and put coffee grounds in the filter. The Aroma button activates a unique brewing process that enhances the natural flavor and aroma of your coffee by releasing water into the filter basket in 30-second intervals. This special time-released process saturates the coffee grounds a little at a time to fully extract the best flavor and aroma from your coffee. A 24-hour programmable timer allows you to prep the DCF212T in advance so your coffee is ready when you need it and also includes a 2-hour automatic shut-off. Additional features of the DCF212T include a pause and serve function, permanent gold coffee filter, non-stick warming plate, built-in cord storage and cup storage tray for warm, ready to use cups.

It's great advantage is that it can sit underneath the cabinet and you don't have to move it in order to add water or coffee. It has a drawer that swings open allowing you to fill it without bumbing into the cabinet. This replaced a Krups coffee maker that did not make great coffee and cost more. Showing comments 1-1 of 1
