- Quality espresso and machine. Review by Moto-Espresso
Quality: Value: Price:
My Saeco/Barista was at the heart of a mobile coffee cart business started in 2006. It has made untold thousands of espresso's commercially. That's seven years of continuous use without a whimper. I used the ESE pod option for cleanliness and speed, however I now use it with grind. The steamer is of course insufficient for commercial use but this machine kicks @ss for quality and longevity. Only recently have I retired it to our personal kitchen, using at home now. This machine will not let you down ever. Buy it.

- Excellent machine!!!!! Review by Jimh615

I have had this coffee maker for over 4 years. I received it as a gift when it was marketed by Starbucks as the BARISTA, however built by Saeco. The three buttons are arranged differently...that's all. Twice a day it still makes the best espresso!!!!! (I'm from Palermo, Sicily, I LOVE quality espresso) The crema is beautiful. Buy one, use a burr grinder...at least a $100 one....then use an inexpensive tamper; press firmly........and let the Venezia do the rest. Then go to some chic coffee house and try theirs.......you'll like yours better!!!! Many reviews of expensive espresso makers point to the difficulty in achieving a nice crema and the need for a very expensive burr grinder to facilitate a nice crema. This great little machine dispels all that.....but you really do need a burr grinder, just not not an expensive one.
