Drinking tea is a deep rooted tradition in virtually all parts of the world. Many cultures serve tea as part of their daily ritual, some seek medicinal qualities while others simply enjoy it as a way to relax, for comfort or spending time with friends. Our tea presses provide a convenient way to brew loose leaf tea allowing you to actually stop the brewing process when desired by the press of a plunger. Traditional teapots are typically equipped with a strainer to hold the loose leaf tea while hot water is poured over it, and small "tea balls" are filled with loose tea leaves then submerged into a teapot or mug full of hot water.
