Terrific espresso
This is just the thing for anyone who want to enjoy the espresso experience without the initial expense. I recommend it highly.
Excellent Espresso Maker
We have an Italian foreign exchange student living with us this year. She brought a Bialetti and a brick of LavAzza Qualita Rossa with her. This is now our favorite espresso. If we can't convince her to leave it with us when she goes back home, we will have to break down and get our own.
Awesome Moka Pot
I've owned one of these type pots for nearly ten years. I only rinse it after use with clear cold water and wipe the inside with my finger or a very soft terry cloth, NO SOAP. Also, as has been mentioned, watch the handle over the burner; I have a hand carved oak handle now, bet you can't guess why. I used to use Blue Grove Jamacian Coffee but they went out of business so now I'm looking for a coffee worthy of this pot.
A good classic design
Classic design, reliable and makes way better coffee than any drip brew. In fact once you have had this type of coffee I am sure you will become a convert forever! Definitely don't wash the inside with soap, as others have said. It is best to let the coffee oils cover the inside. Otherwise you will get a slight metallic taste in your coffee. You don't get that if you just leave the coffee oils in. Yes it will eventually look nasty, but works great.
Best coffee maker for the buck! Tastes great!! Had the Bialetti for several decades!!
My family has been using Bialetti stovetop espresso makers for as long as I can remember and they always been very happy with them. When it came time for me to buy one, I decided to go with Bialetti. .I'm glad I did. It makes exceptionally delicious coffee time after time. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who appreciates good espresso..
This is the pot used all over Italy in every home for eons, or so it seems. It makes The Best espresso. Just know the rules. Never use soap on or in this pot. Rinse with hot water. The more you use it, the better the caffe. Do not tamp the grounds using this pot. There is no need. Understand that by "3 cups" they mean three espressos. So the pot actually fills to around six ounces, total. Try Lavassa's el Gusto here. As I recall it's 70/30 robusta/arabica. In this pot and in the US, it is perfect. It should take less than five minutes on electric stoves, 3 or 4 on gas, to brew. Watch the handle is off the burner or it may burn. IMO This little wonder - for less than a date night movie - makes superlative coffee. And it is quite an endearing little pot. Downright charming. I've had mine since 1975! And I can't imagine starting my day with anything else.
Excellent Espresso Maker
This is an excellent espresso maker. The first one I received would not seal completely. I contacted the manufacturer and the representative told me to return it for a replacement. Fast prompt service and the replacement works perfectly!
Excellent caffettiera
Carmine from Alabama
No reason to spend hundreds on fancy espresso machines that break and can't be repaired. This is a real man's caffettiera. Basta.
stovetop bialetti espresso

this is one the best espresso makers i have had and believe me it's just as good as a $500 machine for $30 bucks, sometimes expensive does not always mean better. thank you.
