MADE in INDIA! Bialetti made in India? mama mia what a tragedy. We originally purchased the aluminum stove top coffee maker, but ran in to an issue with putting it in the dishwasher by mistake. So we worked with EspressoZone and they were wonderful in exchanging it for the stainless steel Bialetti 6 cup coffee maker. EspressoZone is the best. We will always buy from them, But Bialetti! no way. Why? The aluminum coffee maker we first had was stamped Made in Italy. We were proud to own it. Italian espresso in an Italian pot...the best! When we received the stainless pot, which is beautiful, we looked all over and did not see Made in Italy, which raised our suspicions. Then we looked on the bottom of the box and there in big letters MADE in INDIA! Italian coffee in and Indian pot?! No way! Fuggettabouddit. We only buy products made in 4 countries: USA Canada Italy & Germany. No Asian So American or other European countries. Nope. Not happenin (most of the time) Anyway Bialetti has lost a customer.
