    I really think I've found a major shot quality improvement, even for pressurized. I'd love to share it with you guys and get feedback from you and fellow blog followers. [ Background: I always roast my own, have been an Aeropress user for years, and recently got a Bar32. ]

    The improvement is this:
    in a slightly wet filter holder put in an Aeropress MicroFilter before the coffee.

    It adds a little more pressure, which is good, but most importantly the coffee is clearer.
    This means more flavor and less of the bitterness that comes from large coffee particles.
    Anyone who doubts this should drink their favorite coffee Turkish style or french press brewed, both of which IMHO were invented with wholesale sacrifice of taste for convenience.

    I promise everyone, a pressurized with Aero-filter shot tastes much better than the exact shot without the aerofilter.

    As with all scientific endeavors, independent verification is the ultimate judge.
    (If you have an espresso machine and no aeropress, ask an aeropress owner for a few filters. You will be further validating the wisdom of his (her) purchase!

    This is the espress purpose of the microfilter. ( :-) sorry )
    looking forward to peoples opinions on "bogey's brew".

      Well, this sounds very interesting ... definitely think it can work with a pressurized PF like you're using, but the traditional machines would have a brew time issue I think.
