Intelligentsia Coffee Black Cat Analog Espresso

Recommended by Leslie in Accounting and Financing

Tell us a little bit about yourself!
I've lived in the Northwest my entire life, and Seattle for about 15 years. I have a desk job, so I like to be active in my free time.  I'm involved with local nonprofits, and I enjoy playing music.  I think of myself as a fairly typical Seattleite.

What flavors or notes do you like in Black Cat Analog?
I like a very dark and smooth roast with low acidity. My favorite notes are caramel or chocolate.

What's your favorite way to drink Black Cat Analog?
My go-to is an Americano, which I prefer on the strong side. Hot or iced, depending on the weather.

What's the best coffee pun you've ever heard?
There are so many, but I like the tried and true: "Thanks a latte."

What coffee shop(s) do you hang out at on your day off?
I prefer to make coffee at home. If I'm out and about, I'll choose a place depending on the neighborhood. Here are a few of my favorites: Tougo Coffee Co, Broadcast Coffee, Herkimer Coffee, or Caffe Vita.

Currently at home, I’m brewing on a Technivorm KB741. I love it. It makes the best drip coffee I’ve ever had.

What flavors or notes do you like in Tony's?
Full-bodied, creamy, full mouthfeel to me. Smooth not bitter. No edge or smokiness. I look forward to it. It’s my reward for getting out of bed.

What coffee shop(s) do you hang out at on your day off?
Love the vibe at Storyville in Pike Place Market. Space is fantastic, coffee is amazing and it's a great hangout spot. Would recommend to anyone living or visiting Seattle!
