One very cool feature of the Smart Grinder Pro is it's Dosing IQ system, which can automatically grind a very precise amount of coffee based on your desired brewing target (in cups of coffee, or shots of espresso), eliminating the need to measure the ground coffee. The BCG820BSSXL includes both a removable ground coffee container, as well as two portafilter cradles (one for 58mm portafilters, one for 50-54mm portafilters) so you can grind hands-free directly into your espresso machine filter basket. We tested the Smart Grinder Pro here at Espresso Zone, and found that it could even grind fine enough for commercial style espresso machines; we were able to pull a thick, creamy shot on our Rancilio Silvia, then quickly change the setting to brew drip coffee.

Large Coffee Bean Hopper: Holds 1 lb. of coffee beans, and is easily removed for cleaning.
