LavAzza Matinee Espresso Point – Brewing Guide

The Matinee Espresso Point machine was manufactured by LavAzza for decades, but sadly they discontinued this model espresso machine in 2016. The Matinee allowed anyone to effortlessly and consistently prepare authentic espresso, cappuccino or latte, and also featured a built-in steam wand for frothing milk to make a cappuccino or latte comparable to those from the finest coffee bars.
Step 1

Add water and turn on the power switch. The LavAzza Espresso Point Matinee warms up quickly and is ready for use within a few minutes.
Step 2

Insert an Espresso Point capsule and close the brew chamber door, the fresh capsule is inserted into proper position while the used capsule is automatically discharged to the storage drawer below.
Step 3

Select the desired brew size and seconds later brewing is complete. The Matinee stops brewing automatically once the selected brew volume is reached, or if you prefer there is a continuous flow button that brews until you press STOP.
Step 4

Froth milk if desired for cappuccino or latte using the powerful built-in steam wand.
Step 5

Used capsules are automatically discharged into a removable storage drawer.
